As Always...

EDUCATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you enjoy working with youth or adults, the education staff is seeking volunteers to assist with tours. No art background needed! Training provided. Come see how rewarding working with the community can be. Volunteer your time as little as once a month or as much as you desire. Help with a hands-on project for kids, or assist with a tour of the museum. Call Kate at 828-327-8576, extension 207 if you are interested.

SCHOLARSHIP MONEY AVAILABLE FOR CLASSES
Thanks to the LB Lane Family Foundation and Kulynych Family Foundation, HMA has scholarships available for adults and children who normally can't afford to take classes. One student recipient stated, "The reason I want to attend the Facial Facades camp is because it would help me to achieve my future dream of becoming a beautician. I will get the start I need to begin my path into the world of beauty. One day, I may be able to help people who cannot afford expensive makeovers. I also hope this would be the beginning of some new friendships."
